Welcome to
2021 Roadtrip!
Last year's Review

We had an amazing trip in June of 2020. In the midst of a global lockdown and riots nationwide, we escaped Illinois to head west!

We stayed in an AirBnB just outside Cody, WY which was about an hour and a half east of the center of Yellowstone. The view from our backyard (above) was one of the coolest parts of the trip, as we had a walkout basement right to a beautiful view.

None of us had been to Yellowstone in the past, and that was our primary goal last year. Seeing Old Faithful and the hot springs was a breathtaking experience, and not being surrounded by cornfields was a plus as well. 90% of our trip was focused around the top and bottom loops of Yellowstone National Park
This years plan

After a year of not taking any time off, a vacation can not come soon enough! This year, we (Andrew, Jacob, Jon, and Nathaniel) hope to visit more of the attractions in the west that are not Yellowstone - although we will probably go back for one of the days - such as the Grand Tetons, Devils Tower, and much more. Nathaniel and Jacob want to heavily emphasize on taking lots of photos with their Cannon 90D and Sony a6000.

We plan to take our trip the week of June 20th, 2021, and make our way out west. The plans are not 100% finalized yet, but as we get closer we continue to nail down the attractions we want to see and the places we want to stay. We'd like to stay one or two days longer to be able to view more of the area and not try and fit so much into each day, and take the time to enjoy God's creation.

We had a handful of people donate to our trip last year, which is the only way we were able to afford it. Four college-age students trying to make it on part-time jobs was a bit of a stretch. If you have a few extra $ to donate to a good cause, we would be very grateful!
